Development of a brown site with four new residential dwellings in a close, where the topography heavily influenced the design.

We were appointed to provide full Structural Engineers and drainage services for the duration of the project to design the four family houses.
The four homes all shared a handmade clay tile roof that wrapped itself seamlessly down the flank of the building. The hidden guttering provides a clan crisp, simple shape and finish to the houses.
The design, which used a combination of prefabricated timber panels and a cut timber roof, allowed for open vaulted living accommodation at first floor and a balcony to enjoy the views across the River Yox.
